On Thursday, the National Assembly voted a resolution opposing the election decision of a three-member bench of the Supreme Court.

The meeting of the National Assembly was headed by Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf.

The resolution voted by the House is against the participation of the court in the automatic notice about the postponement in the Punjab elections.

The resolution noted that the three-member bench ruled against the resolution of the House.

The resolution further noted that the House deems the ruling of the Supreme Court as unenforceable.

He also added that the House binds Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the Cabinet not to obey the judgment of the Supreme Court.

The House asked for a full court to determine the dispute.
